Bring a Renewed Energy to Your Unique Roll

You are a teacher for a reason… you love your students and you want to foster the best within them. Yet the classroom may not reflect that goal in every moment. And you know very well that each moment counts.

One thing you can instill in your students that will outlast anything else is the ability to love and enjoy the experience of learning.

Enjoy Teaching Now
was created to assist you in strengthening your own ability to live and teach from joy so you can effectively pass that on to others, in every moment.

Teachers spend more waking hours of the day with children
than their parents do.

Your role in the development of little (or not so little) humans cannot be underestimated . In truth, you are serving not only as teacher, but also a parent. To many children at once!

Teachers and parents alike are realizing that the children of today are bringing new challenges to the table.
It is up to us to meet them.

How can teachers meet the needs of all their students while fulfilling the requirements set forth through the schools? With attention to some basic truths about the nature of children, and the adults who care for them.

Both children and adults learn and grow
in an environment that nurtures their well being.

Certain school environments definitely provide advantages for the actual setting where learning takes place, but even more importantly than the materials, the room, or the building is the actual teacher and his or her presence while teaching.

It is much more about who you are being than what you are doing.

The method of teaching is important, but what really makes a difference for the student is how the teacher comes across while the teaching is taking place. Is the teacher grumpy or happy? Does the teacher pleasantly give respect or is she demanding of respect? How does the teacher handle conflict or students who do not want to cooperate?

There is a way to enjoy teaching now.

It starts with a simple awareness that peace in teaching can be increased and that there is a way for it to be experienced on a regular basis, even when conflict comes into play.

Next, attention to thoughts and feelings, along with a basic acknowledgment of human nature, will set the stage for a strong foundation to operate from.

The peace available to enjoy teaching now exists within each one of us. It may take a little bit of practice to get there, but once you do the classroom - and the world - becomes an even brighter place.

Our children are listening, watching, soaking up our every action like a sponge.

Thankfully, we get to choose what we put out for them to absorb! I look forward to assisting you through private sessions, discussions, classes, & seminars. Feel free to contact me to discuss your particular circumstances.
